Private Lessons

I have been teaching saxophone and piano for over 5 years, varying in age from 9 and up. I am located on the Upper West Side and offer in home lessons. I teach the fundamentals and basiscs— starting with scales, long tones, embouchure, reading music, music theory, and ear training. Advanced concepts include reading chord changes, transcription, improvisation, composition, and active listening. Each student I work with is different, and I tailor my lessons around the student and their goals.

Lessons are either 30 minutes or 1 hour. My goal is to find how my students can express themselves in their own unique way. Taking lessons with me is all about falling in love with an instrument and your unique musical voice.
